I had a presentation monday...10 minutes on our myo hand. You know things didn't go good when your group says "you turned bright pink, we thought you were going to pass out."
Wayne Farms hasn't sent that performance thing yet and I can't find my cell phone to call them....

Ok...I found a great blog. Anywhere a group of females refer to themselves as bitches and describe their dating status as on the prowl or Ravenous but Selective (kindly forward CV/Resume) has to be awesome.
Also here's the Nutty Brit's blog.
I just got a call from Wayne Farms again...while I was typing this. I now have to fill out an online Performance Profile. Then if that goes well there will be an on-site visit.
nervous, but I like the idea of money...

I've hav to reed thees primary articles for my history class. There is this grate article by Webster (of dictionary fame) and he proposes a change to the spelling of words to create an american english language. He says:
"A correct orthography would render the pronunciation of the language as uniform as the spelling in books."
What fun...I wish I'd learned to spell that way.
In other news, this came from the FBI recently. It would create a hotline for corporate fraud informants. First of all I thought this was what the SEC was for. From the SEC website:
"The Division of Enforcement investigates possible violations of securities laws...[and] works closely with various criminal law enforcement agencies throughout the country to develop and bring criminal cases when the misconduct warrants more severe action."
So if the SEC investigates and reports to criminal law enforcement agencies, why is the FBI involved?
My main thing is, why does anyone need another database?
*note to self (and anyone else who might pass by)...I'm playing with the formatting...this might look stupid for a while.
If you can't tell, I love this linking thing. It makes me feel academic...like I'm citing my work or something.

Quotes from a message board. Some joking some not, I think the points are valid:
"Why is the federal "Homeland Security" the only funded agency while the state and local agencies go begging? 'Big Brother' is here and his name is George W."
"...that bar code is in the Bible, cept it's called the "mark of the beast". Most likely that beast is an American Eagle ,holographic, info imbeded, bar code readable, tatoo --to identify "genuine" American citizens. Gettin mine next week, along with a new smallpox vac and a roll of duct tape."
I'm reading a draft of the Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003...its getting interesting, read it if you have a chance.
...back to the hands, like a bad sci-fi movie or a never ending adams family episode

I've got a friend out at the Air Force academy...with all the allegations going around, pictures like this take on a disturbing meaning.

I need to call my dad back, but I think this boat in red, white and black would be awesome. With all this rain both of the shoalie streams should be very floatable this summer. If I get the boat I'll see if I can talk Jason into going on a multiday warmwater float (like that would be hard...) before he heads off to PhD land. There should be plenty of room for gear in that boat.
this would be an awesome way to spend a few days. maybe baitfish for the cats at night.
gotta go get my group...(hi, ho, hi, ho...)
